Greenpeace has published its yearly ranking of energy suppliers, indicating that Aspiravi Energy belongs once again to the best green energy suppliers in Belgium.
When making up its classification, Greenpeace considers production numbers, energy mix, purchasing policy and investments. In this way, Greenpeace wants to avoid that energy suppliers occur more "green" than they really are. With a score of 19/20, Aspiravi Energy got an extremely ecological classification in Belgium.
"Aspiravi Energy achieves a very good score thanks to substantial investments in offshore and onshore wind energy. Aspiravi itself produces more than enough electricity to supply all its customers with truly green energy, relying mainly on wind power, supplemented by biomass."
Advantageous rate for shareholders
